Concomitant to "Mapping the Coronavirus Genome," this project concerns the evidence presented by Covid's material artifacts as found on the streets of New York. Each one seems to me a microcosm, but whether if behind each discarded object lives a human story, a political statement or just an inconvenient gust of wind will never be known.   

The earliest images date from April 2020 and were taken through the pandemic, although I did not get around to printing them until January 2021 (most of these images are from April and May). This project is continuing and additions will be regularly posted as I work through year's files and take more pictures.
